..:: *+ Small Talk +*::..
Finally decided to put in effort to start this post. It was really a hard time for me to do this. More pictures please visit 88ultimatepichu88
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It all started on Friday afternoon, when Markus came over to Heilbronn to pick me up. I waited for his blue car at Bahnhofsvorplatz. Our journey (let Heilbronn as reference point) started around 1600h GMT+1 and we reached our destination, Vogtland, Reichenbach around 2100h. Along our journey, I slept, woke up, slept, woke up... and my ears were stuffed with German words, as the car consisted in the beginning 3 Deutsche and 1 poor Malaysian (that's me!). We had our pit-stop at BurgerKing, where another passenger joined in. A handsome guy from Libanon. Anyway, we continued our journey and after all those thingy, Reichenbach!
We reached there when Markus Rose, the leader of Hoffnung Deutschland was preaching. We settled down in the hall and I could hardly catch anything came out from his mouth. @,@ Seniors said, "Biasalah~ (means 'it's normal')", but I was thinking, how long should that be an excuse for me? I want to learn German better.
After the talk, we went to the registration counter, where I met Daniel, Yong, Kie Yie, Jia Uei, Sally and the rest of the Malaysian Christians. After the registration, we went to our room and had a good sleep.
::2nd day - Saturday::
I woke up at 0700 and went for morning devotion with Jia Jin. We discussed about knowledge and wisdom and what God expect from us - to knock the door and ask for His wisdom. The session was indeed gainful and really thank God for providing me such a nice Mentor.
Then we went for breakfast at 0800 and then went for the 2nd talk. After the talk we went for workshop that we chose - how to simplify a problem and strategie to solve it. Was fun and here came lunch. Then we went for football~ We conceded 1 goal and score none out of 5 games. Pro? =P
Night time was the 3rd talk, followed by praise and worship. Enjoyed jumping and praising Him. During the prayer I decided to tell Jia Eui about my grandfather's incident. Cried a lot as he and his wife, Sally prayed for me. I wished I could continue to be in his arm forever. I felt heavy to lift myself off from his shoulder. I wished I could stay in that period of time forever. I need a shoulder to cry on. I'm really sad over grandpa's situation. If only the time could stop for me for that moment...
After that we had some chat with other Malaysians from all around Germany. Then sleep.
::3rd Day - Sunday::
Woke up and went for 1-to-1 with Jia Jin. Further discussed about the previous topic and how to ask from God. Then went for 4th talk, then went for the Baptism. It was somewhere at a pond nearby (not!), walked over a yellow flower field, sorry don't know the name of the plant.
After that we went to McD for a short break, before joining other participants for the dinner. At 1900 we went to hall for the 5th talk. Followed by praise and worship, I enjoyed dancing and praising God. Night time went to "Wunderbar" for some conversation and drinks. The chocolate-dipping machine was cool! around 0130 we went to sleep~
Chocolate machine~~~ Yum yum.. Kiwi + Chocolate = BEST~
::4th day - Monday - Last day::
Woke up and went for breakfast. At 0900 went to our last talk. Then went to workshop. I went to the one that inform us about what 'Hoffnung" is all about. I knew some history of this "Hoffnung". It was started in Thailand, a place where Buddism (how to spell~?) dominated. It was indeed a hard-time journey and I was really astonished by the work of God for Hoffnung movement to be as strong as today.
Had lunch at 1300 and went for closing ceremony, and holy communion. The Camp ended offcially and we stayed back for some help-out. I helped in the kitchen and honestly, Germans have their own washing style: Fill the sink with water, add some cleaning soap, dipping everything inside, wash inside, place it to be wiped clean, put it in cupboard, THAT'S ALL. They don't rinse with clean water. Water expensive =O "Errmmm", right? =P
Anyway, after helped out, it was already around 1730. Hopped into Tobias's car, and off we went coming back. By the time we reached Heilbronn, it was already 2030. Unpacked my clothes, put them into washmachine, and reloading my baggage for Paris trip, which will be in another post.
~~
To summarize, I think this was another wonderful first time for me - joining a Christian Camp. I met wonderful Malaysians, such as Ka Jin, Jia Uei, Jonathan, Stephanie, Sally etc. Hey, Sally was member of NLRC back in Shah Alam, so some of you might know her? I met wonderful people, such as Markus Rose, Prakich etc. It was indeed fun throughout the camp, though I understand not much during the talk and sermons. Was impressed by Ka Jin, he was the speaker during one of the talk. Sigh, still, need to improve my German... Learning~~ Anyway, it was real fun, and next year will be in Stuttgart. So juniors, this will be a wonderful opportunity for you all. Please don't miss it - You will definitely regret if you miss it. Grow grow grow up, Vincent~!
p/s: Coming up in the next post - Paris Trip.
