Baskin bASKIN!

..::*+Small Talk+*::..
After looking at my brother's blog, after looking at the situation they're in, it reminds me of something I heard during Cell Group time at Charis Church. We should not just only look and aim toward our goal. We might be struggling hard to get to that point. We might be working very hard, to the extend that we shorten our sleep hours and meal time. Yes, no doubt we wanted a total victory in whatever we're doing. But sometimes it's worthy to rest and look at the surroundings. We might be joyful at the finishing line, but there are something even more memorable: It's the journey we take to reach the goal. It's the journey that makes sweet sweeter and pains lighter. It's the journey that bond everyone inside the circle together. It's a piece of memory that colors your life and plots your future.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
31st, the end of the month July. Although my wallet is drying up and the government haven't give us the allowance, I managed to dig out some money to eat ice-cream.
.
.
.
.
ICE-CREAM!
Not the one that the ice-cream that the uncle sells, who rides a trishaw or bicycle or whatever with a fridge or whatever metal container with different tins of different flavor ice-cream. Oh ya, not to mention the bell that they always ring ring to attract young kiddies.
But guess what? It's Baskin Robbin! Haha... I know I know, very the expensive, that I can only afford to buy when days like today. If you don't know, every 31st of every month ( I think) Baskin Robbin will have discount of 31%.
LoL... Today is 1st of August, I know. Last night I wanted to post up this entry, but unable to finish it in time, so today continue back the story. I chose this...
Baskin Robbin, flavor: I-forgot-what's-the-name Chocolate and Strawberry
Haha... It makes me think back the 1st time I ate Baskin Robbin was at Timesquare. Wow, what a good recall. What a sweet memory. I still remember, that time I was so the stupid, that I didn't even know that PINT is pronounced as "pine"+ the sound "t", I thought it was pronounced as "pin" + the sound "t". That time I bought Baskin Robbin with her. YOU KNOW WHO, need not to mention, right? :P
Anyway, the one that served me looked at me with that I-don't-know-what-are-you-talking-about's face. I looked back to him with the did-I-just-said-something-wrong?'s expression. After a while he finally got me: "PINT, you mean?" And I was like, "oh I see" and gave an awkward smile. Anyway, me and her chose "Love Potion" flavor, since we were that time deep in love with each other. But that's not all! It was the nicest flavor that I've ever ate, even until today. It's so the memorable, as we two sat at a bench outside the shops. The Love Potion was made up of Vanilla ( That flavor is called vanilla right?) and there were pieces of chocolates inside, which were made into love shape. So, we were like digging for the love shape to feed each other. How fun was that. That was not long after we started our relationship. That was very memorable. That was very sweet.
Anyway, I'm not wanting to disclose all my personal things here. It's just that, I like the Love Potion very much. And since then I never have chance to taste that flavor again. Timesquare... So far away. From Shah Alam Seksyen 18 here to Timesquare is like about... minimum 1 hour 15 minutes. Maximum? I don't know, maybe when there is no Commuter train (the KTM train never punctual, mind you), and it'll be like, 2 hours? Haha.. Don't even try to think about that.
Anyway, of all the flavors, I like Love Potion the most. It's not just only the part of my relationship's memory. It is my favorite! =D
Wah! A pack of ice-cream. Someone bought this and waited for sometime and gave it to someone which made that someone felt sweet and happy for the whole day. Get what I mean? Hehe...
Well, that's all for now. The next Baskin Robbin hour, don't know will be when again. =D
青空 (Aozora) - Lia
..::*+ Small Talk+*::..
Finished watching Air anime. I know it was such-a-long-time-ago anime, but haha... consider me as lagging and not in-phase. Anyway, this is one of the soundtrack that I fell in love with. For those who interested in getting anime songs can go to this website. Honestly, NEARLY ALL of the anime songs can be found there. Need to register but it's free. And read the rules before you end yourself being blocked by the site. LoL.
ENGLISH:
That Ocean was blue as far as I could see
That path stretched straight ahead as far as I could see
Let's race to see who can make the most honest smile
The one I love the most is smiling
No matter where you are, will you smile for me right here?
When I close my eyes, I can smell those summer days
They were playing together in that river, covered in mud
We chased after that cloud and said whoever reaches it will be happy
Let's race up this hill
We'll race to our favorite place
I have so many memories. It's almost as if I didn't need anything else
When I close my eyes, I can smell the ocean
Summer will come again, glimmering with a silver color
Two shadows are reflected on the water's surface
So-la-la's 19th Birthday!
..::*+ Small Talk+*::..
有人说,分手不是因为不爱,而是因为太爱对方。感情方面,最重要的是懂得通融和珍惜对方。这一次,是我自己为自己下的决定。
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

23072007! Birthday birthday! First of all, sorry for the late post. I was busy collecting the pictures. Hmm... if not mistaken Helen still hold some of the pictures, so I'll update again when the photos are here. =D

So my birthday was celebrated normally. I received SMSes from my friends. Haha! Don't want to name them out, I'm sure you laugh at me.

So little friends who message you. How pathetic. >.<

So there goes. I received birthday wishes from MSN friends. I received birthday comments at Friendster etc etc. And guess what, I received call from my mom + dad, and my sister, who celebrated her 22th (I guess =P) birthday together with me. Yep, both of us born on the same date, 23rd July. Cool, eh? Then I called my 小姑, Aunt Molly. =.=¨ Surprise again! She also born on the same day as me! Haha... so we wished each other "Happy Birthday!" LoL.

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! =.=¨

At school, received birthday wishes from a lot of people. People like Nadia, Katie and Wawa asking me to belanja them, with the reason that day was my birthday. =.=¨ Heck!? I thought I was the one who should be belanja-ed?! Never mind. So I gave them MYR5.00 to spend. Haha... This makes me wonder, what they've done with that piece of cash? Maybe can go KFC on Tuesday afternoon and buy Snack Plate with the KFC card? Or maybe go giant buy some more asam-asam for me to eat? HoHohO!

Then later after that, I went to gym with my friends. I've been going there since last last week (relative to today) to play some of the equipments. I did too much of the sit-up, so I think I injured (is it called "torn"?) my muscles at my stomach. But still, I had great fun there. I even brought in skipping rope to play inside there, which makes me think of something happy!
I finally made it! Double-skipping 85 times combo! Very hard... So I felt proud of my accomplishment. LoL.

But any how, it was sort of tiring. Then at 6.30pm (GMT +8.00 lame... =.=¨) we went to McDonald to celebrate my birthday. Those who presented were me, Theng Theng, Yee Tong, Yen Zhao (Yee Tong and Yen Zhao MUST be named together since they're couple =P), Xiang Yu, Daniel, Pau, Soh (I don't know how to spell her full name), Helen, Jing Xin and last but not least, Grace. They bought me a cake and a present from ALG9. Wei juniors ALG10, you guys still owe me a present, okies? =.=¨ My cake was bought from Bakers' Cottage and it's mocha with Almond (Is it called Almond? I mean the thing that coated the curve sides of the cake.) nuts. So, they sang me birthday songS. Yep, songs. In different languages: Chinese, Malay, English, German, and Cantonese. Sweat!! In the end the candles were sooo short, that if they sing another song, the flame will burn the cake =.=¨

My mocha cake... See how these "creative" people placed the candles...

Flame on!

But anyway, I did something the other-way-round. I blew the candles before I made my wish. What's my wish? Cannot tell you. Mom said if you tell out your wish then it'll not come true. Hehe... So, after I made my wish, I cut the cake. The cake was so spongy like sponge, so it was sort of like I deformed the part when I cut. Then someone said:
This is it? After all the while that you went to gym?

Sweat! KNS. It was Ah Pau, the one who treated me the blue-blue-don't-know-what-thing-with-sprite-and-pineapple drinks and Fillet-O-Fish and a large fries. And then Theng Theng handed me the present. It was a Nike dry-fit of Manchester United with number 8 and ROONEY at the other side of the shirt. That was the one and only present that I received this year. So after finished eating cakes, we all left McDonald with all the trashes and rubbishes on the table.

number 8...

ROONEY..

Smash! Face nearly printed on the cake, thanks to Yee Tong =.=¨

Well, it was nice to have people celebrate my birthday with me, and I heard it was Theng Theng who chosed the Mocha cake and organized the birthday "party". And I'm thankful for that. For everyone. Although some one don't give me face. >.<
Reading books... =.=¨

Compared to last year, this year was a bit low-toned and less memorable. And I celebrated singly after celebrated "doublely" last year. But I'm satisfied with it. After all, people always say "sweet 18" right? So I'll make what other people said comes true. Well, it's not good to always stuck in the past though.

Thank you everyone for cheering my 19th birthday up!

p/s: Mei Kuan Jie Jie, you forgot my birthday... some more need me to wish you happy birthday before you wish me... =.=¨

Last but not least, enjoy this.

I'm into Politics and Issues!

..::*+ Small Talk +*::..
Oh my god, I still can't believe I'm finally go into politics and current national (and perhaps international, someday) issues. But I really cannot stand this person's speech. >.<

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What in the world that such human exist? I'm referring to an article posted by Ainul Asniera Ahsan at UtusanOnline. I mean, what the heck?
Honestly Mr. Syed Ali Mohamed Alatas, are you trying to create another 13 May issue again?
Sekiranya peniaga bukan bumiputera yang telah berjaya dan memonopoli bidang perniagaan tidak bersedia membuat perubahan minda bagi membantu peniaga bumiputera, agak mustahil kaum bumiputera dapat berjaya dalam bidang perniagaan seperti mereka.
Come on, please. Malays are fortunate because lots of incentives have been given to them. They can loan more money from the government to buy assets and premises. They have been given aid in manufacturing of their goods and promoting their goods. Not to mention other aids given by the government and non-government organizations (NGOs). Are these not enough? Now you are telling that Non-Bumiputera businessmen must give aid too? What kind of aid do you want? Give up our business and let the Malays inherit them?
I felt disgusted by the last sentence in this quote. Are you telling the world that you're looking down on your own race? Come and think about it, please. What do you mean by "agak mustahil" (quite impossible)? Are you Malays so vulnerable, to the stage that without help from EVERYONE , you can't success in your business? Honestly, I don't think so. I don't look down on your race, but perhaps you're the one that looking down on your race? I've seen a lot Malays businessmen success in their careers. And I've seen a lot of Non-Bumiputeras (especially the Chinese) met dead-end and bankrupt. I'm not into economy, but honestly, to be successful you need 90% hard work and 10% luck. Some people can be successful in their business because they've put in effort in the business and they're lucky to have chances, by the means that maybe he got chosen to be the manufacturer/supplier, out of so many competitors, by giant, big companies. Foreign companies. But there are people (especially those without that much help from others) who work hard and put in a lot of efforts in the business but they just can't success. Not because they are not hardworking enough, it's just that they do not meet their luck.
Syed Ali berkata, orang Melayu telah bekerja keras dan menunjukkan kesungguhan untuk berjaya dalam bidang perniagaan.
Yes, they did, compare to last time (which was, I say, 40 - 50 years ago). And that is worthy of a praise. But I'd say they not hardworking enough compare to the Non-Malays, Chinese typically. I think they still need to put in more efforts, then they can sit pretty with the Chinese too =D
Coca-Cola was found in 1885 and marketed in 1886. Pepsi was found in 1890. Correct me if I'm wrong. Both are the same type of drink. But clearly Pepsi was considered as Newbie compare to Coca-Cola in 1890. But today, I would say both of them are equally success and dominated carbonated drinks, at least in Malaysia. This is just an analogy. I didn't mean to make fun of any part of this analogy.
Katanya, kebanyakan peniaga Melayu tidak diberi ruang strategik apabila menyewa di kompleks-kompleks membeli-belah seperti peniaga bukan Melayu.
‘‘Cuba tengok di kompleks membeli-belah, di mana premis peniaga Melayu kalau bukan di tepi tandas, belakang tangga atau dihujung bangunan,’’ tambah beliau.
Katanya, layanan sebegitu sebenarnya jelas menunjukkan usahawan bukan Melayu takut akan persaingan yang bakal dihadapi sekiranya peniaga bumiputera diberi peluang.
I would say this is the most disgusting words that I've ever heard and it's just so low. Hey, and the president of Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Malaysia (DPMM) said that. What in the world? This is an indirect insult you know. Please, please please. What do you mean by "not given strategic space"? There's an idiom called "first come first serve". If they really have the will to boost their business, they should apply as soon as possible when the application to rent is open to public. Since the better-and-more strategic places are usually more expensive, they should have better chances compare to the Chinese, as they can get more financial aid from currently NEARLY EVERYONE.
Honestly, it's just sounded very low-class if you really said that. Sigh... please don't start another 13 May, although I personally did not see what actually happened that day (and judging by your photo, I think you've gone through it). That's just my personal opinion. What you've said was just absurd.
How can you charm a woman?
..::*+ Small Talk +*::..
Saw this when i wanted to check my yahoo!mail. And hmmm... how far is the truth of this article? Think that yourselves. In the end, in my opinion, some are not really correct.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

How can you charm a woman? Do they like a daily check-in phone call? Does she secretly wish you'd text her in the middle of the day for no reason but to make her smile? Do they prefer expensive dinners to home-cooked meals? Rock-hard abs? Flowers for no reason?

Identifying women's turn-ons is complicated, because they all react differently. Some women you wish came with owner's manuals so you knew exactly how they were wired. Luckily, I've done most of the legwork for you and am happy to pass this knowledge on to you.

Top 10 ways to charm a woman

  1. Be aware. This means cracking open more than the sports section on the daily paper. Be up on current events and learn the difference between feelings, emotions and thoughts. Women are emotional beings and tend to think things through.

They are attracted to men who are as smart or smarter

They are attracted to men who are as smart or smarter than them, and your knowledge of worldly matters will demonstrate your intelligence.

  1. Demonstrate humor. Women love a man who can make them laugh. Now don't fret here if you're not a stand-up comedian. We all have a certain type of humor. You can be dry, sarcastic, hilariously funny, quick-witted or dark. Being able to poke fun at yourself and just plain old being goofy is a turn-on for women. Keep in mind that all women are not attracted to the same type of humor, so if you don't vibe, just walk away and try someone else.
  2. Have passion. A guy who lives his life with gusto is incredibly appealing. When you speak to a woman about your life, your travels, your job, your interests, speak with passion. That passion about who you are will turn her on instantly. She will start to imagine what it will be like when you are involved with her and how passionate you will speak about her.
  3. Be considerate. Pay attention to the little things and look for opportunities to make small gestures that show you care. A simple "How was your day?" and being able to listen to her when she wants to discuss something are huge. So many men forget about simple things like holding the door, paying for her valet or just thanking her for a great time last night. Women are all about a guy with manners -- she is not attracted to the dope who acts like a caveman.
  4. Be honest.

Share who you are by telling her something personal

Share who you are by telling her something personal. Maybe share one of your favorite childhood memories or some personal growth that you have been going through. Something that will show her that you are a trusting and honest person. It also shows that you are a confident but vulnerable man. Women love to see the vulnerable side of you. Note: Don't talk about an ex in a bad way here. If you have to talk about an ex, do so in a positive manner and share what you learned and how you grew from the relationship.

  1. Be flexibile. Be open to her plans but surprise her with your flexibility. Take charge and surprise her with a fun night out. Instead of being the typical guy who makes a reservation, think about how you can be the guy who listens to her and plans a great date that she did not expect. If you can pull this off, she will be open to all sorts of advances from you.
  2. Be positive. If you are positive about life, it shows in your actions. I always tell men to be extra nice to waiters, bartenders and other service people. Be a courteous driver when she's in the car. When you are in line at the movies, don't complain. Look for the humor and try to have fun with people all around you. Be positive about everything, and she will find you to be very sexy and alluring. No one wants to be with a negative hothead.
  3. Be balanced. Women love a successful, ambitious man. They love that you work hard, but if you constantly put work ahead of her she will become turned off. She will start to imagine what life with you will be like with her needs being ignored. If you are out meeting women to date, you need to balance your life between work and play. This will be a major turn-on for her.
  4. Have ambition. Men who are ambitious about what they do are a turn-on to women. It doesn't matter if you choose to be a rich stock trader or a painter, as long as you are passionate about who you are and what you do. If you don't love what you do, find something that really turns you on. You can't attract the woman you want with a negative ambition. Women love a man who is the best at what he does.
  5. Be attentive. You are out with her for the very first time, and she tells you she loves a certain type of music. On the next date take her to a lounge that plays that type of music. It is all about paying attention to the details and working on your listening skills.

This list of 10 things will work in most cases. Keep in mind there is always the woman who you just can't seem to please. If you happen to cross paths with this type of woman, ask yourself, "Why would I want to be with a woman who is so difficult?"

I tend to avoid the difficult, judgmental women. Knowing women's turn-ons and putting them into practice will help you identify women who may be relationship material. You need to realize that you want to attract and turn on the women that are attracted to you on an equal level!

Thank you, wonderful.

..::*+ Small Talks +*::..

Today I went to Campus Alive again. And honestly, Joash, I thank you. You saved me again, twice. All of you will not know what I’m talking about here. Haha… it’s just between me and myself. But then again, thank you. You saved me again. I found the purpose of THAT INCIDENT. Just when I’m down and seem going towards the wrong path, you awaken me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was the first Campus Alive (CA) for this whole new semester. As usual we gathered up. But today’s message was very powerful and meaningful. As if it was all specially dedicated to me. For few times the tears formed within my eyes, and for a few times my vision became blurred, because of the tears. Although I managed to keep them from flowing out like a stream of rain, it was a great moment to me, I gained a lot.
And guess what, the speaker today was none other than Joash, a wonderful person from INTEC. Honestly from the very 1st day he came here, I had a very bad impression on him. I had the thought that he is LOUD and making noises. But after I came to CA (thanks to Helen for inviting) I found out that he is a nice person, who is 180° different than what I knew about him all these while. I discovered that he is such a great and caring friend, not to mention how faithful he is towards the God.
The topic of the day was about the new life, new journey at INTEC. It was supposed to be dedicated to all the super juniors and newcomers, but out of so many people, I think I benefited the most. It was like as if the Almighty sent someone to me, to light me, to show me the path, to guide me, the little lamb. It was the question that every newbie in INTEC will ask himself/herself: “What is the purpose of being in INTEC?”
He also talked about goals and visions. As he talked, I thought myself, what is my goal? And what is my vision? I can’t really answer that. As time goes I think I’ve found the shattered fragments of the answer, pieces by pieces. At least I’ve been exposed to the question, a question that I did not ask myself again since a long time ago. I don’t know the answer yet, but I’m trying my best to trace back these pieces, and I’ll find the answer. I know that myself, very well.
Whenever I face problems, what I know is only blame others. I blame my partners whenever I lose in a double-tag in badminton matches. I blame my partner for not being good enough. I’ve been very ego and proud of myself. I’m not satisfy with my partner whenever he/she make mistakes, where as when I make mistake, I’ll just reply with a word of apology. If there’s no one to be blamed on, I mop and whine of myself. That’s all. And these were wrong. But here is where Joash’s words came into me. Whenever we face problems, we can choose to be accepting and rejoice, or we can keep ourselves down and frustrate. We can choose to keep on, or we choose to give up. We can choose to be in the Light, or we can hide ourselves in the darkness. We can choose to pull through, or we can choose to pull out. But a thing we must realize is that the choices that we made, we’ll need to be responsible for them. For everything, for every result, for every effect, is it better? Or bitter? It makes me ask myself, have you done enough for them? Have you fight for the best? Have you been grateful and thanksgiving, no matter what the outcome is? Is that what you want? Is the harvest that you collect are within your expectation as you lay down the seeds? Ask yourself, ask yourself. ASK YOURSELF.
It was a meaningful session. It was wonderful. Thank you, for expose me to CA. Thank you Joash, you saved me twice. Thank you, for the wonderful speech. Thank you, for saving me before I drown myself in the darkness. Thank you everyone, for all the cares and understandings to make me a better person.
Live is good, once again. At least I feel better for my coming birthday.
With love,
vincent
